Are you apologizing for your being?

Are you apologizing for who you are? Your feelings, your dreams, anything YOU?

How often have you apologized for your feelings?

For your feelings, body, existence, dreams, self-love, boundaries and more.

How often have you apologized (or asked validation) for your body?

How often have you felt that you need to apologize for being you?

Hello 😇 and welcome to this post where we will speak on not apologizing for being you❤️

I have most definitely been there, felt that and apologized for all things me. How did that feel? Very small, honestly hard to bare and painful.

How does that feel for you?

Today’s topic is exactly that.

Are we apologizing for being ourselves, for being how we are, for feeling, are we seeking validation?

I want to remind you this space welcomes your peace. That this space welcomes your calm, your rituals, your sacred spaces. So grab your favorite tea, make it cozy, make it magical and let’s begin to look into what we can uncover today:)

Blessed how you are

I wanted to first shine a light on the fact that we don’t need to apologize for being ourselves. For feeling deeply, for our tummy and its size. That we don’t need to ask other to validate our chosen things for ourselves or our opinions. Apologize for anyting I mentioned earlier.

We don’t need to apologize for our dreams, ask are they good enough, are we good enough. WE are blessed as we are. WE are beautiful as we are.

So let’s first take a deep breath just with the sentence itself:

I don’t need to apologize for my being.

I am safe to be me.

…

Deep breath…

I have taken my time to integrate this and make this belief mine.

You can too and you will!

A deeper look into it

Now because of our past experiences, generations of trauma, anything that caused it , we might have a tendency to apologize for our being. Maybe because we saw how others did it, or maybe because we felt like we had to. But that is not so .

Apologizing for our dreams, desires, making them more appealing to others, making ourselves more appealing to others , but why?

And it even has gotten that deep that we say it to ourselves. “I cannot do this, I cannot do that”. We make it as a joke and say it as a statement that we cannot eat this thing, for example, because “look at my thighs already” or “Look at this”. It has become as a statement that we say as a fact, that we have internalized. How does that feel?

Or wiping our tears away because “oh I cannot be weak” or “I need to pull myself together”.

Saying our dreams are not okay or we cannot achieve them and shouldn’t go for them. What are we even thinking?

Now let me ask you a question. Are these beliefs yours? Where did you learn them , where did you hear them? Or when did you feel it for the first time?

I was glad to start pealing those layers off of me.

Layer by layer pealing them off and realizing that there is no need. There is no need to apologize, to ask for validation. If I need to I also can give it to myself. But apologizing for myself, my dreams, my desires, my boundaries, my wishes, my feelings, my tears, my body, all of it. For my GROWTH.

Who will I be if I don’t do this? Who will I be if I don’t apologize? Or ask for validation? Who will I be if others won’t accept me? Who will I be if I stop doing this all?

Let me tell you — a much more free version of yourself!!!

How does that sound?

How do you feel when you imaging being a more free , unapologetic version of yourself?

How do you feel when you imagine yourself at peace with you, with who you are, with your growth, with your being? With your feeelings? With anything YOU?

You can most definitely do it!

And who knows, maybe we will get to work on it together sometime:)

I am wishing you the best and a great rest of your day !

I am going to drink my tea and do the same 🙂
